I have been away from this fine hobby, and this helpful board, for a year. I'm returning with a desire to learn what's happened in the last year. I was a user of version 10+, now upgrading to 12.
At the time I was last working projects, there was a very helpful resource on capturing and editing HD video wih version 10. I ran it off hard-copy and used it as a cheat sheet for settings and other tips. This was not produced by Ulead/Corel, but by another user. Is there a repository of such tutorials around anywhere?
Just FYI, I take movies in HD, but create my disks on standard DVD's (not blu-ray or the like), since I distribute copies to people who do not have the players. I know I'm overdue to upgrade to blu-ray. However, for now, it is still my ambition to capture in HD and burn on to standard DVD-R.
Anyone know where those nice tutorials are posted and if they've been updated with the latest practices and technology?
