Serial # / Passkey problem today with v12

Does anyone have insight to this issue? I downloaded the upgrade version for Pro X2 (also called 12) and the serial number given with it did not open the product. I called support, and they said this was a known issue and that they're working on it. They will write me tomorrow with a solution.

Any input on this? Anyone else in the same boat?
