Gentleman, (and ladies);
This fine camera captures in NATIVE format 1440 X 1080.
What would be the consequences to the video quality if I RENDERED projects in Videostudio using the 1920 X 1080 option?
I tend to shoot in 25p mode as opposed to 50i. Any advice would be greatly welcomed.

It would not improve the quality since the program would in fact be inventing horizontal pixels out of thing air. However, it is still excellent quality as far as I can see when trying a conversion to AVCHD, which uses 1920 x 1080 as its native format. However, I have not tried HDV > HDV conversion and tried to increase the frame size. I did not even think it possible since the maximum size of HDV according to the international standard *is* 1440 x 1080.
