Bought the upgrade yesterday and I had no problems. I downloaded the file, received the e-mail and installed the program without any incidents.
I guess I am one of the lucky ones

5th Day!!! and still waiting to hear from Corel.

Me too i am getting ticked off now. When i was on the phone to Corel they told me they would send me the new keys within 24 hours. Guess i will not be getting my keys before Monday now if Corel can be bothered to send them that is.

Copy the new serial number in the 1st screen. Copy the VS11.5 serial number in the second screen if you have bought the upgrade version and click next. VS12 starts to install.

I think Babdi is talking about needing the previous version serial number for upgrading. VS prompts for this when you purchase the Upgrade.

This happens only if VS accepts the new serial number. Babdi we don't pass the 1st screen as we get the message that we have an invalid serial number. So we ARE STILL WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING....

If you have installed the TRIAL version and start the downloaded UPGRADE it will say updating installation (no request for serial numbers?)
This upgrades the TRIAL version ?
Still leaves it in TRIAL mode with xx days left
Still waiting for the fix for my UPGRADE!.....

Okay let me state this more clearly
1) Bought online, upgrade version
2) Downloaded the VS12 full version the file name is ESDVSPRX2IEPCPF.exe
3) Uninstalled Trial version
4) Started installation of the VS12
5) When prompted, entered Name , Company and the serial number received for VS12
6) Clicked next.
7) Was prompted again for the serial number of VS11.5
8 ) VS 12 got installed
9) Downloaded the content pack and the bonus back from the purchase download link
10) Added burger transition pack
All is well , up and tunning

Same here, purchased 18 hours ago, let it download overnight...had to re-download the content pack this morning
Serial numbers worked for me, luckily I guess.
Sorry to hear that a few are having problems. Hopefully it's resolved soon.

For those who are STIL WAITING for new serial number the above procedure stops at No. 6. with the massage that we have an invalid serial number. Now you see why we are frustrated as we paid some 5 days ago and we can't use it yet.

I understand your frustration.It seems Corel goofed up somewhere up the line. They will have to give you a new serial number which should install VS and bring a

in your face . Good luck to you and few others

FINALLY!
I couldn't wait for COREL to send me a new serial number and after some effort, I got hold of Corel support in Ottawa and gave me a new serial number that WORKS!!! So I am now trying this VideoStudio Pro X2 that I have been waiting for sooooooo long. I hope it has been worth waiting.

Still Waiting 7 days now i phoned corel again and waited on tec support hot line a min or so then they disconnect the phone connection. Tried this about 5 times same thing keeps happening. What a customer service i give them -100%
I really don't think they care about their customers. No emails to tell you whats going on make promises and then fail to deliver.
