I have a slightly weird problem that you may/may not be able to help with? I have a quick trawl through the board and couldn't see other posts on this, please forgive me if I've missed something!
Anyway - been editting in HD for a while now, and have generally just been outputting to HD MPEGs for playback on my PC, or down-sampling to regular PAL DVD format.
I've just splashed out on a shiny new Blu Ray writer
and, as a first exercise, have popped a bunch of my 'films' onto a Blu Ray disk. Playback quality is spot-on (and I optimistically live in thehope that the cost of blanks disks will come down soon!), EXCEPT, that the playback speed is wrong!!! 
Everything is running just a little fast, perhaps as if my 25fps footage is being played at 30fps??? And now the regular MPEGS are playing back fast on that machine also.
Any ideas?!?!?!?
