Hi,

Were you installing the software, opening the application, opening a file, modifying a file, or saving a file, closing the program, ...?

Methinks some system/OS specs are in order.

try reinstalling the program
- delete the temp files in C:\Windows\Temp folder
- uninstall using the add/remove programs from control panel
- go to C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems then delete PhotoImpact folder
- reinstall the program again

if using Windows XP or 2000, please make sure to logon as Administrator to avoid restrictions.

Uninstall Ulead software.

Turn off your Firewall and Anti-virus Software, and every other program running in the background or displayed on the Task Bar, especially Speech Engine.

Try reinstalling Ulead

Don't Try to install Ulead in Safe Mode, Microsoft still dosen't support USB or CD in Safe Mode.

Have had the same problem in the past, missing registry keys, due to Firewall and Anti-Virus software.

Otherwise, you have to have the Win XP Pro to use Administrator Tools and know how to use the Tools to diagnose the problem further, or install the proper drivers and Boot into Safe Mode.

If all else fails get another Disc from Amazon and try again, as your CD or DVD may not be reading the Disc accordingly.

Mine started yesterday after using the program every single day, all day long. Just got the same issue, tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Nothing helps and my disc is fine. I'm stuck too.

I was simply opening the app and this happened. These people cannot possibly tell us there is no fix for it! I uninstalled, cleaned EVERYTHING and am deleting the iedit.exe references in the registry and will try again.

Only thing that changed yesterday is that I opened musicmatch for the very first time. It had been on my machine already so it didn't install anything. Nothing else changed.

This is driving me nuts.

Think I found the problem

Will keep you posted

I am running DEPENDENCY WALKER and MSJAVA.dll is NOT being found on my PC. How it got removed, I'll never know. I will try putting it back and tell you how it turns out.
