HELP - I recorded video tonight and changed my settings to High-Def
All I see now are m2ts files....can I convert m2ts files back to Mpeg files in VideoStudio 11.5 Plus?

.m2ts are in fact mpeg, but most likely AVCHD mpeg-4, which is notoriously difficult to do much with unless you have a powerful computer. The best to try -- and it should work -- is simply to put the video in the timeline and select Share > Create Video File > DVD, which will produce a DVD-compliant mpeg-2. Make sure you check first (by right clicking) what Field Order the m2ts has -- normally it will be Upper Field First. Make sure you use the same in your conversion.

Will I then be able to edit clips and combine clips on the overlay layers as usual in 11.5 + ??
