None Animated Illustrations with GIF Annimator 5

Post by Gray »

Although a great little animation program GIF 5's layers and simple tools can also be used for straight illustrative work as well. The first illustration of a P40 is created using GIF 5's paint tools. The second image of the flower was colour blocked in vector for layout then painted with GIF 5.

Outstanding work :!: :!: :!:

I had to look at the P-40 image a couple of times to see that it was not a photograph. Very good art work.

Your work drives home Viking Animations (Robert) statement about Corel doing away with such a powerful application.

Thank you so much for sharing your creations with us..:)

Thanks vidoman for taking a look and commenting. I agree it's too bad that Corel is not going to improve, support, and promote this great little software. Maybe management doesn't realize what they have in this little package.

Excellent work indeed, Gray! (Where's the Thumbs Up emoticon?)

I too prefer to use GA 5 for a lot of graphics work, instead of programs like PI (XL or 12) and Photoshop (5.5 and CS2). As your work so aptly shows, it's mighty powerful and handy indeed!

Thanks so much Robert. GA 5 is a very capable and useable software. I'm sorry to see it's end.
