Hi,
Does someone know how to create transparent swf so that I can use custom overlays? I use PowerPoint to create animations, with animation path and moving objects, can export to flash with a plug-in, but cannot get transparent... so cannot add as overlay to existing video... Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

The flash authoring program must be able to export the flash (SWF) file with transparency. I would suspect that PowerPoint is not capable of producing SWF files with the alpha channel (Transparency).
There are several "flash authoring" programs (not plug-ins for other programs), that should have this capability, such as Adobe Flash CS3, SwishMax2, and Kool Moves just to name a few.
