How can I get Video Studio to recognize the Windows Media TV Tuner Card? I can record TV through Media Center but can't capture with Video Studio. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks in advance.....

Do I then need a separate TV Tuner card to capture with Video Studio so that I can edit the video? If so, any suggestions as to brand etc? ATI, Hauppauge or other?

For the video capture step, use the software that came with your TV Tuner Card. (Then, hopefully you can edit the resulting video files with Video Studio.) The same is true with any analog capture device. I have a Hauppauge card, and I use the Hauppauge capture-software. Some of these devices might work with Video Studio, but AFAIK Corel no longer publishes a compatibility list.

Hi there DVDDoug, thank you for the reply.
The only software that came with the computer setup is Media Center from Microsoft. The computer is a Gateway FX4710 with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, with Media Center. I am really not interested in Media Center at all. I would just as soon get rid of it and use something else that I can record, edit and burn to DVD.
