hi folks,
I'm using MSP8, and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out the audio control handles. These are the little square points you can create in audio tracks to control fading in & out, etc.
I can create single handles and drag them, but cannot find a way to delete the handles.
Also, is there a way to pull down an entire audio "line" between two handles? in older versions of Premiere, this was possible - and was quite a time-saver if you needed to lower or raise the level of the entire track.
I can't find any help about these control points in the help files; not even sure what Ulead calls these points.
thanks for any assistance...

Unfortunately there is no way to pull down the whole line, which is a shame as I use this feature a lot in my other editor. You have to carefully pull down each end of the line and try and make them the same at each end to keep the line straight!
If you drag the handle off the clip it deletes the handle.

If you hold down {Shift} before you start dragging a handle, you get more control over the amplitude change, including a little tooltip with the percentage- you can use this to make the handles at either end exactly the same level.
As Troppo said, dragging a handle outside the clip will delete it, but if you've held down {Shift} this won't happen, allowing you to quickly set either 0% or 200% amplitude.
If you just want to change the entire clip, use the "Amplify" filter - which has the added bonus that it can be copied from one clip to multiple clips in a single operation.
