I am trying to create a video file ready to upload to a popular stock video provider, however they require a .mov Quicktime file. Video Studio does not seem to have the option to saving to this format unless I am missing something.

I have tried some conversion software which does seem to convert the file successfully, but somehow does something to it so the stock people reject it.

This is what they have asked for: "We require full resolution Quicktime movies compressed with PHOTO JPEG (or MJPEG-A or MJPEG-B if interlaced) 3:1 compression. Compression should be set to no less than 95%, "High", or "Best".

Any ideas how i can do this straight from Video Studio? Any help appreciated.

When you click on Share > Create Video File click on the Custom template (at the bottom of the list). From there you should be able to choose .MOV and set the options as needed.

But if they are after the Motion JPEG format, you need to have the MJPEG codec installed. It does not come with either Windows or Video Studio. It is a fairly old format now, and one which is principally these days only used on some still image cameras for their video function. It is high quality, though, being the predecessor of DV/AVI format. But I am surprised that a stock provider would want it in that format since they would be presuming, when supplying their stock footage, that their clients also would have the MJPEG codec to be able to play the footage.
