Cool 3DPS Empty EasyPalette

Post by gugonz »

I have an empty EasyPallet.

I just bought Cool 3DPS after using the trial version. It looks like Corel is only selling now the download version.

I did uninstall the trial version before installing the paid version and also turned off the User Account Control feature of Vista off as suggested by htchien in the topic ¡§Hot to get Ulead Cool 3D to work in Vista¡¨. After I installed the program I changed the program compatible to run in XP mode but the EasyPalette remains empty.

Is there a way I can make the EasyPalette work in the paid version like it was in the trial version? How can I tell if I am I am missing any components?

I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Thanks for your help!

It seems that you did not install everything. There are 5 additional files to download and install, then the User Manual and Help files. You can download them from the following link:

Hello vidoman

After checking the EasyPalette I noticed that the program remains with three empty spots for the following items:

Movies under the Composition group,
Color Backgrounds under Scene group and
Text Wave under the Text Effects group

I guess missing only three items compared to an empty EasyPalette is pretty good.

Thanks again!

You might try reinstalling some of the components, as all those you mention should be there.

You can try by just over-installing, no need to uninstall the program.

Thanks for your suggestion vidoman, I did try it at least three times for all the components without any luck.

Instead I installed the program in a loptop and I did export the missing thumbnails to my flash drive just to import them later to the PC where I plan to use the software, so I am good.

Thanks for all your help!
