Capture Mode Crashes

Post by michaelg »

I have tried everything...

I'm running XP with 11.5 plus... Have always been able to capture video until last week. Everytime I tab into CAPTURE, it crashes. Sometimes it will allow you to tab into CAPTURE, but when you hit capture video it crashes and closes.

Any ideas? Already followed compl re-install with all patches.

If you could capture before and now can't then it is likely that something has changed on your computer.
Can you recall installing or uninstalling something that may have caused a change?
To eliminate VS as the culprit download a copy of "WinDV" and try to capture using that. Of course that is assuming you are trying to capture from a DV cam....you didn't really say what you are trying to capture or from where and how!
