Hi, I'm trying to finish a movie and create a DVD with menus. When I preview the result it looks good. UVS also state that it is compleated succesfuly, burning to DVD or creating Audio and Video files with VOB or IFO files. BUT - when viewing the result all I see is the first screen of the DVD downsized and located on the upper left side of the screen. There is no ability to activate it. I also tryed it using MovieFactory 6+ (try version), and the result is the same. Removing and re-installing UVS 10+, same problem.
Any clue of what can be wrong? Are you familiar with such phenomena?
Thanks,

Another member had this issue with VS11+. It turned out to be more of an issue concerning the DVD player. He had a couple of the more expensive DVD players ( in the $2,000 US range), and one cheap DVD player. The DVD would play just as yours in the expensive models, however played correctly in the cheap one. It is real odd but the more expensive (high-end) players seem to be finicky about the media being used. On the other hand the real cheap players will play about anything. I know I have one such player, and I think that if I put a glazed doughnut into it, it would play it..
This would indicate a possible issue with the brand of discs being used, and the compatibility with the players. Another possibility could be the speed at which the disc is being burned. Some of us tend to stick with the theory of the slower the burn speed, the better the burn. I'll use a burn speed of 4x and so far have not had problems with the DVDs being read correctly.

Try burning the DVD to a hard drive folder rather than a disc, then play it back with a software player such as WinDVD, PowerDVD, Nero showtime etc.
Does it play correctly on the computer?

Thanks for the hints. I have tryed to direct the files to a HD folder than play it with IFO SW. The result was the same - opening page on the left upper corner and no ability to activate the movie.
I have created the DVD menu using one of my pictures and applied music. Does UVS has any restiction on the size of the applied picture? (I used quit a big file ~3MB).
Regarding burning speed, I did it with x8 speed which in the past worked very well.
Additional hints are very welcome.

For still images please view:
What dimensions etc should I use for still images in Videos?
For the other problem - we need to know more about the source of your files, how it (they) got onto your hard drive in the first place. what those file(s) are - they can be anything from a short clip from your mobile phone to a complete production of war and peace from your expensive Home Movie film studio, or simply downloaded stuff off the internet and extracted off a DVD.

It looks as the problem is in my computer and not related to UVS - SORRY.
I can View the burned DVD on my TV or other computer then mine.
In any case thanks for your prompt reply.
