Vista & VideoStudio 10 Plus - No Audio

Post by kailuakid »

I just loaded my VideoStudio 10 Plus on my new Gateway PC loaded with Vista. When I opened a project that I've been working on and wanted to do further editing on from from my Old XP SP2 PC the project opened and ran but there was no Audio. However, if I opened the Mpeg show in Windows Media there was audio. How do I fix this problem?

Have you loaded the Vista compatibility patch for VS10, available on the Ulead.com website? VS10 came out before Vista and is not fully compliant with it, including on the audio side. The patch should fix that, though you will notice that when VS10 is running, it disables the Vista Aero look, and reverts it to Basic.

While using VISTA Video Studio 10, No Sound

I had the same problem, but found by clicking on the sound icon in the center of the screen, and increasing the volume one notch to 101, the sound works.
