DVD files

Post by sgraham »

Version 11 of Ulead creates Video_TS file. Older versions I have used create both Video_TS file and Audio_TS file. Why is this? Both DVDs duplicate and play fine. Thanks. - Steve

You only need the Video_TS folder, that is why. Look at any commercial DVD and you will see that although it has an Audio_TS folder, each and every one of them is empty. So any program you use to burn your Video_TS to a video DVD will automatically insert an empty Audio_TS folder. It's required by the international DVD standard, but no longer serves any purpose except with certain types of music DVDs...
