Failed to read dvd information

I'm using trial version of Ulead Video Studio 11 plus.
When I try to import from DVD/DVD-VR I get an error message
"Failed to read DVD information.
Report ID: 0x80040901(2305)"
Please help I want my wife to buy me this program.
