PSP X2 Plugins are not loaded after installing a new plugin

I have PSP X2 and use Windows XP.

Every time, and I do mean EVERY TIME, I install a new plugin, I have to fight PSP to get my plugins to show up. I clear the cache, redo my file locations, everything short of reinstalling PSP. Sometimes I do have to reinstall PSP. I have all the patches and updates from Corel and nothing seems to work. I have checked their "Knowledge Database" and nothing is in there except for an update for PSP X which does not work for X2. If anyone knows the answer to this problem that I have been fighting for months, please let me in on the secret!

Make sure that your plugins are on this folder:

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Languages\EN\PlugIns

You can manually add other locations by going to File > Pref > File Locations

Thank you so much for your reply. I had them there, but that was not the problem. I did, however, remedy the problem. I just converted all the plugins to .8bf with PICO and they are working fine now!
