Unable to apply patch
I purchased WinDVD 9 BD Plus then installed it successfully. Next I attempted to install the latest patch, DVD9.0.14.91_63207_Plus_iUpgrade.exe. Problem is I get an error stating the patch can't be applied to my version. Any ideas?

Unable to apply update to WinDVD 9 Pus with BlueRay
I too cannot apply either patch. The welcome screen shows an update available. When I click on it, the update manager launches, and then, after 30 seconds or so of extracting files, it tells me that it cannot apply the update to this version. What am I doing wrong? This is under Vista Ultimate. The application shows version 9.0.B14.084sjj1805 wrote:Try the other one

Since posting my original reply, two of my computers after running WinDVD 9 then displayed a message informing me that an update was available and asking if I wanted to install it. Replied yes and the upgrade installed itself.
It seems to be sort of automated update system rather like Microsoft updates windows. Try running WinDVD and leaving it open for a while (so that if it is downloading any updates it has time to complete) close it and see if anything happens.

Could you please look at the version information and post was it is reporting? Perhaps the automated update is already there and that is why it refuses to update. Also, I tried to complete remove Windvd9 from my system and then downloaded it again from the Corel site. Same issue.sjj1805 wrote:Since posting my original reply, two of my computers after running WinDVD 9 then displayed a message informing me that an update was available and asking if I wanted to install it.
