Unable to insert file into album

If I have it set to send the scans to the album and hit acquire, it opens my twain device I hit scan and when it finishes scanning it gives me an error message saying it cannot insert the file into the album. If I set it to open workspace, it opens the scanned image and allows me to save it. I have uninstalled and re-installed the scanner and the software still have the same issue.
