Because I can't seem to dowload sufficient version of VideoStudio 11.5 plus updates, etc to arrive at the proper version, to test the output quality of m2ts files from a Sony HDR-CX12 camcorder, I ask your personal experience.
1. I own Pinnacle Studio 11.1.2, which can import m2ts files and write to AVCHD-DVD disk.
2. Sony provides "Motion Picture Browser" which can also import m2ts files and write to AVCHD-DVD disk.
3. The camcorder can play directly to my 32" 1080i HDTV.
Using the same footage, I played the output of each of the above on the HDTV. Output from the Sony supplied software and direct from the camcorder were both, visually, identical. Output from Studio 11.1.2 was markedly inferior.
Hence my question: Would members of this message board who have made similar comparisons using: 1. Camcorder to HDTV and 2. VideoStudio 11.5 Plus, report their findings before I make a decision about jumping ship to Ulead.
AVCHD-DVD output tests?
