Both. This isn't stated explicitly, but the Blu-ray version of the patch says "VGA Chipset support for Blu-ray Disc playback on Windows Vista and XP OS". I've installed it on both XP and Vista, and got "succeeded" messages at the end.

Good for titles up to...

April (2008 or 2009)?????

I ask because Narnia Prince of Caspian BluRay released late 2008 does not play on WinDVD 9 Plus BluRay even after performing all available updates.

Didn't see any mention of a new patch after a search apologies if there was. Must be going blind checked already several times this month and didn't notice it.

New update as of Dec08 for WinDVD9+BR only.

* Improved Intel® GM45 support
* Support for NVIDIA® GeForce® 9 Series mGPUs

Also noticed the ability to turn on/off Vista Aero effect.

For me works ok in Vista x86 and Windows7 x86 Beta.
