Saving a C3D file to GIF issue

Post by talented »

I've created lots of C3D files, saving them as C3D and also as GIF files for posting on the web.

Problem File:
I've created a C3D file that looks perfect throughout the animation cycle of 20 frames. Once it's converted to GIF there is basically a mask over practically the entire width and length of each frame - the 'mask' is the same color as the background color - basically hides all objects and text except for a small portion on the left side of each frame. I've tried saving it again and again with no luck. Is this some sort of program issue or have I included something that would cause this to happen?

Thanks.

C3D's GIF-saving ability is rather lacking. If you have GIF Animator 5, save your presentation in TGA format, as image frames, and assemble the collection there.

Without having a peek at your raw C3D file, I can't say any more than that.

Thanks, Viking - saving as individual image frames works great.

By the way, I want that Viking hat is C3D format - any possibility of that happening?
