Does VideoStudio allow you to create a movie file that contains 4 or more separate movies playing simultaneously in their own individual windows?

Yes you can.
Here is a video of mine that has 4 and a fifth in the middle that comes in
plays and goes away.

You just put your videos in the overlay tracks and place them where you want on the screen.
