avchd output file missing audio

Hello everyone,

I created a avchd file from a mpeg2 with dolby digital 5.1 surround sound. When I examine the properties of the avchd file, under audio all the information is the same as the mpeg2 input file, with the exception being instead of 5.1 channels( what the input file has under properties) it has 2,0 .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your output settings to make sure you have 5.1 selected.
