I saved the image logo in photoshop as a transparent gif and the transparent parts show up as white...
How do I get it transparent without using the chroma key?
I want to have it where it fades in and expands which is easy but I wish I could get it to be transparent.

Using PNG or TGA image formats seem to work best with VS for transparency. Try saving your image to one of those formats, and VS will recognize the alpha channel (transparency), when placed in the overlay tracks. Oh...you did drop your transparent GIF into one of the overlay tracks? In order for VS to see the alpha channel, it must be placed in an overlay track...
