Am noticing that my ulead 10+ is crashing much more frequently especially since I installed sp3 for xp pro and saying there was an error and had to close even if I shut it down properly. My question is should I upgrade to 11.5+ at this time? I am just starting to do HD. I have numerous simple projects to do so am not interested in a long learning curve at this point. What happens to my 10+ projects will I be able to edit them on 11.5+. Anything else I should read or be aware of before taking the plunge or not?
Thank you
Carol

This seems to fit in with my suspicions about Windows Service Pack 3

Anyone got a problem with XP SP3 and MSP8 ?
A little birdy tells me that VideoStudio 12 will support XP Service Pack 3.
Hopefully the release date is getting a bit closer now and so it might be worthwhile struggling through with your existing version. If it gets too bad all I can suggest is to try working your way through
Troubleshooting your computer
If you only recently installed Service Pack 3 you might be able to use system restore and wind the clock back. Whilst you can uninstall Service Pack 3 via the add/remove programs icon in Windows Control Panel - you have to take into account what other items might be affected. To find out you can run the uninstallation routine which will then display a warning message advising you what programs are likely to be affected and giving you chance to abandon the removal.
