Inserting hidden chapters into main feature?

Post by rallyman2008 »

I saw a DVD a while ago, that enabled you to click on a button during the main feature and go directly to a separate chapter and then after viewing that chapter to return directly to the main feature, in other words without going through any additional menus. Can I do that in Workshop 2 please, and if so how?

Use the "Playlist" function found on the Menu Tab.

I don't think it's possible without going to a menu.

Sorry I misread you initial post and thought you meant from a menu.
Devil is right, no way to do this with DVDWS2

Thanks for the clarification on that. It's a shame it can't be done in DVDWS2 especially as so many other authoring programmes can do it, but once you've learnt most of the tricks of one programme it's hard to change isn't it? Are there any plans to enable this facility on future versions?

Incidentally I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but we originally got Workshop Express bundled with something several years ago. In time we upgraded to DVD Workshop and then DVD Workshop 2, but by mistake I sold the original with a computer that I had and then one of my newer computers crashed, and because my 'upgrades' were 'upgrades' I need the origanal serial number to re-install Workshop 2. Sadly though a couple of emails to Ulead support have gone unanwered and I'm a bit buggered. Can anyone offer any suggestions please?

DVD Workshop is now a "Discontinued" product.
By this I mean it may still be available for sale on the Corel Websites but there will be no further versions and no update patches or service packs.

It is not considered compatible with Vista and so you should check that your operating system is one of those listed under the system requirements shown on the web site.

Regarding your serial number - did you register it on the "Ulead" website - if so these have all been moved to the new Corel site. - the log in button is near the top right of the screen.
