Failed to create VOB folder
I'm trying to create a DVDs from vacation videos. My first attempt was to use the Movie Wizard to DVD with auto menu creation and no main menu. The process worked flawlessly. My next attempt was to create a main menu with submenus. I loaded the tape to my computer by importing to an AVI file. I used VideoStudio 11.5 Plus' Movie Wizard to automatically add music from a Travel theme. I sent the output to the Editor to add titles. I've tried Share > Create Disc > DVD and got an error creating folders. I looked at this board for an explanation and found Ken Berry's 7/29/2008 solution. I tried this approach creating the .mpg file and using it along with the menu creation step. When burning to DVD, it spent a few minutes converting the motion menus. Shortly after this was completed, I received an error message (Failed to create VOB folder - 515:0:0) and could only reply OK. Nothing got created on disk or DVD. What could be causing these errors in creating folders. I am signed on as the same person that installed the VideoStudio 11.5 Plus software and have administrator rights. I can manually create folders on both internal and external drives. Any help would be appreciated.

Briefly:
What is the source of the video files - e.g. camcorder, TV Card, Internet, DVD Disc, Digital camera etc.
How did this video get into your computer - e.g. firewire cable, USB cable, Put disc in disc drive etc.
What do you mean by avi files.
DV, DivX, Xvid, MPEG4 or one of about a thousand other formats.
What are the video bit rates, audio bit rates and type (e.g. MP3, AC3 (Dolby), WMV etc. )
When you say uou created an MPEG file - let us know the various settings,
PAL, NTSC, screen size, bit rates etc.
The more information you can give the better are your chances of one of us being able to offer a solution.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I think I found the solution. On the Burn screen, choose Advanced options and check the Create DVD Folder box. I created a folder and specified it here. The DVD was created properly. I'm not exactly sure why this works. It seems that this folder has to exist so that you can use it. Maybe someone can explain it better here.
