cutting end of clip in sped up playback

Hello, I am trying to increase the playback speed to 1000% (while also muting the audio) and the end of my clip keeps getting cut off. The clip is 71.19 seconds to begin with and ends up being 7.4 seconds, it just doesn't show the whole clip. Maybe my computer can't keep up when rendering? Any idea? Thanks

Welcome to the forums,

This is bizarre behavior of the program, not your PC. I've managed to replicate this. It seems the program will not play the last frame, if that's what you mean.

When speeding the clip to 1000% the duration should be 7.4, however it will only play 7.3 (which is 7 secs, 3 frames). I tried rendering to see if it would render and play the entire 7.4, but it does not.

This may not necessarily be a bug. I'm not a mathematician, but if your clip is 71.19 secs, at 29.97 fps, there are 2,133.56 frames in your clip or if PAL there would be 1,779.75 frames. Doing the math, the duration should be 7 secs, 1 frame. This holds true for both PAL and NTSC because it is based on the Time not the amount of frames that are played per second. But it is unknown what algorithm Corel uses in the program.

In any event the "last frame" is not noticeable unless you view the timeline, in thumbnail only mode, and zoomed in to 1 frame, and there is significant change between the last 2 frames.
