VS is Rendering and Compressing when I don't want it to

Ok, This is what I do. I use a stand alone DVD recorder to record stuff. I take that disc and then load it into Videostudio. I then use the multi trim option to clean up the recording. I would then create a video file using the option ¡§Same as first Video¡¨ to basically export the video out with no rendering. I had been using that process for years. Now the problem. Recently Video studio has been rendering the files and compressing them when I create the video file. It will take a 3.4gb movie and when I create the video file, the new file will be 1.5gb. I don¡¦t know why all of a sudden it¡¦s compressing the files instead of just outputting them as is. I never changed any settings in VS. I¡¦ve tried it in both VS9 and VS10. I get the same result.

Hi

You would expect the file to be proportionally smaller depending on how many frames were removed in ¡¥Multi Trim¡¦

Can you give details of the original video and the new created video file ¡¥Same as first video¡¦

Obviously both these properties should be identical., but what are they? Has anything changed?

Just to make sure, are you importing the files using this method?
