I am so damn disappointed. I have tried all day to burn a DVD using VideoStudio 11.5 Plus. The file I am trying to burn is an AVI file that I completed in Adobe Premiere CS3. I have the entire Adobe Master Collection but I have not learned Encore or I would use Encore to build my Menu¡¦s and Chapters.
A few days ago I had no problems burning my menus and chapters using VideoStudio 11.5. Now for whatever reason I select share Create Disc, I build the chapters and menus and begin the burn process and the system hangs at 3% on the title structure. I have tried re-downloading the software and installing on three different computers in my home ALL with the same results of hanging at 3%.
WHAT IS GOING ON?

You might want to try the Suggested Workflow, which was designed for problems such as yours.
After your editing, go to Share>Create Video File to create a DVD-compatible MPEG-2 file (use one of the DVD templates). After that file is created start a new project to clear the timeline. Now, with nothing in the timeline go to Share>Create Disc and use Insert Media to insert your new MPEG-2 file for burning.

I did the work around and was able to burn the file. I saved the avi file
of which was 1.39 gigs to a MPEG-2 and reloaded the file and made new menus and chapters. Seems to work. Maybe the reason it worked before was the original file was a MPG that I was working on, when I was not getting the transitions I was after in VideoStudio I switched directions and used Adobe Premiere CS3. When I exported the file it was a huge AVI file... I do like the way the chapters and menus are built in VS but I do know that Adobe Encore I would have unlimited creativity in design and layout. I just need to learn the software. Thanks Everyone...

There are probably a lot of reasons why the designed workflow sometimes fails, but the work-around seems to solve most of them. Glad you got it working.
