Camera movies to DVD (tv watchable)? Is it possible?
Hi, I was wondering if I can use my ULEAD MovieFactory 4 to transfer movies I made on my Fujifilm Z20fd camera? I've tried adding files from my computer hard drive but it doesn't see them. Help!!!
You'll probably need to convert the video to MPEG-2 before importing it into Movie Factory. (Your camera records to MPEG-4.)
SUPER is a FREE!!! "universal" audio/video conversion program, and it's got me out of trouble a couple of times. You can look at one of the Movie Factory Project-Templates to find the settings (resolution, framerate, bitrate, etc) for a DVD compatible MPEG-2 file.
There are many different audio/video formats, and many variations of each format. Movie Factory can convert some of these formats to the proper MPEG-2 format for DVD, but you never know if a particular format (or format variation) will work 'till you try. (The highly-compressed formats from "still" cameras tend to be difficult to edit and/or convert.)
