Import button doesn't work on Studio 9 trial version?

Post by xplosion »

Importing from dvd was easy on the Studio 8 trial version. This one the pop-up box comes up, and the video shows in the pop-up box when you click on a VOB or chapter, but the import button doesn't initialize (meaning you can't click on it). Anyone know if there's a step I'm missing, such as changing specs or something? thanks

I don't know about the trial version of VS9, but I just imported a one hour DVD directly into the time line with no problems using VS9 (non-trial).

That might be a limitation of the trial version, but I don't really know.

the trial version of VS8 did it easy as mentioned and I think ulead puts all the functionalities in the trial versions. I forgot to mention VS9 trial crashed three times trying to pull video off another dvd-r, and didn't even get to the import point.

I had another editing program trial version installed called video edit magic at the same time. I don't know if that's causing the problem but I'm going to uninstall both and reinstall just the VS9 to see if that solves the problem. I don't like the other program anyway, it changes mpeg2 to avi to edit and then you get an error message from Windows Media Player saying you need to search for a codec.

Use DVD Decrypter for importing video from a DVD. http://www.dvddecrypter.com/
