stop animation

Post by ifixem »

Has anyone successfully used video studio 11 plus for creating stop animation movies? I know there is dedicated software for this purpose but I was trying to avoid a new purchase if I already have the capability. Thanks for any response.

No, but I think the majority of the work for stop animation is done with the camera, not the software.

Seeitdoit.tv has a tutorial video that shows how this is done using VS. View their demo HERE

Now that I have thought about it, Yes I have done a Stop-Animation video, several years ago. I did not have a PC to edit the video on. It was done using a Hi-8 camcorder, a VCR, and a Stereo (for the background music).
