Post by guillo97 »

Hi! I'm an old VS fan from the days of the VS-7. Now I have VS-11.5 but can't open the program. Everytime I try starting it said: 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error'. By the way, I have Win XP Professional.
I'l apreciated the help if anyboy can help me.

Welcome to the forums,

First you need to be running WinXP SP2. Next have you recently updated your DirectX drivers? Go HERE and download the latest MS Direct-X drivers. The most current is dated June, 2008.

I am running Vista and hve updated to the latest Direct X. I get this message at 99% complete when creating a DVD. The dvd still works, just kills VS.
