Can't update VisualStudio 9SE and 10SE

None of the updates provided for these products found on the ulead website are able to detect the software on my machine.... Each time I try any of the updates, it gives me a message that the installer could not find the Ulead software to update on my machine, and that I should install it first...... HELP!!!! I have both VS 9SE and 10SE installed on my laptop.

The updates on the Ulead site are for the full versions, not the Special Edition(SE).
SEs are stripped down versions of the full software and usually come with capture cards, camcorders and other devices.

That is correct. You would have to have a purchased (full) version in order to apply updates.
