Importing text into a title

Is it possible to import text from a text file into a title, or to copy and paste text from one title to another?

Thank you very much for the link; it was very useful. I wonder why this method is not mentioned either in the hand book or in the help files.
I am making a video of an opera performance with a very long list of credits that I am scrolling up the screen. I noticed that as the amount of text in the title increased, so the processing time increased pro rata. Is this a feature of VS or has it something to do with my computer?
