Saving Share/"Create Disc" details

Post by Berzelius »

I have VideoStudio 11.0.0157.0 Plus running under Windows XP/SP2/HE.

As has been explained a number of times on this forum, the only way to save the full details of a DVD produced under Share, eg menu used, chapter names, background audio, is to back completely out of the Share section and then save the project. However, I have noticed that if you do this and then later re-open the project you will often find that such things as the Chapter names have disappeared to be replaced by the original Chapter01 etc names. If your project has a number of titles, each with their own chapters, then this is a real nuisance - before burning the disc you have to go through everything to check that nothing has been corrupted. Is this this just my setup or is it a known problem?

As a supplementary question, does anyone know why VideoStudio omits such an important command as a "Save DVD editing details" - the current undocumented method is extremely unsatisfactory, to say the least. There must be a reason; its omission is a serious lack.

No, that is how it also works for me.

As you are probably well aware, none of us work for Corel so no, we don't know why that function is not possible. Hopefully v12 will address the issue.
