I have 11.5 plus version 0157.2 plus. Am trying to put together video of pan/zoomed stills. The stills are on two different CD's. I have put first CD into my disc drive and clicked on insert media to library, and they appear under the 'image' selection, along with all the ulead stock photos that come with the program. Did the same with the second CD. My Ulead program is accessed through my Toshiba laptop on a external video dedicated 7200 rpm hard drive. So I went about dragging them to the time line and ejected the CD so I could put in the second CD and add photos from that. When I went to preview my work, I get blanks and "original file doesn't exist" on all the photos from the first CD, and vice versa, whichever CD is in the disc drive, those photos show up and the other one that is not in the disc drive, those photos do not show up on the timeline, and the relink box keeps appearing. I have saved the photos from both CD's to the external video hard drive. But what am I doing wrong...I seem to be not saving the media to the library properly. Does 'insert media to library' permanently place that media into the library? Because right now I can't get images from both CD onto the time line to show up at the same preview. When I click on "load media" the little file folder icon, it gives me a message, cannot load, mixed file formats....when just a second ago I was able to "insert media to time line" just fine, but only if the CD was currently in the disc drive....ARGHHH! Help!

The thumbnails you see in the libraries are virtual. They are not the actual clips. To get rid of your relinking message you have to import those files from the CDs to your hard drive. If you do that you will have to relink one more time (so VS can find them on your HD) but then you should be good to go.
