pspx2 giving me an error message when trying to open mover

Post by Sashi »

Nature of the problem: pspx2 giving me an error message when trying to open mover

What devices are involved and their mode of connection? Using Vista

Error Codes (if any) as follows: Could not load command library 'toolstandard'. Unable to retrieve command 'mover'. The Library could not be found, or associated resources could not be found, or versions did not match.

This is what I am getting now after getting a runtime error and having to uninstall and reinstall psp x2.

Help would be greatly appreciated as I use this program alot. Thanks advance for any ideas in this matter.

Sincerely,
Sashi :(

If you use this program a lot this tends to suggest that it was working OK previously and for some unknown reason has suddenly appeared.
Spend a few minutes and ask yourself "What has changed on this computer?"

Have you installed any hardware or software, or have you removed any?
This includes Microsoft Service packs, security updates and the like.
If this is a recent error, you can give "System Restore" a try to see if this reverses the problem.

Failing that try and work your way through Troubleshooting your computer

Firstly, try starting PSP while holding down the shift key, and click "OK" when you see a dialogue box asking if you would like to restore PSP to its default state.
If that doesn't help, it might be best to reinstall after a clean uninstall - use the instructions in this Corel Knowledgebase article.

Do you use Norton 360? There is a bug in that program that causes PSPP X2, and some other programs including Outlook, to not close properly. Some people have had success with uninstalling then reinstalling Norton 360. Otherwise, you will need to keep using the task manager until Symantec fixes the problem.[/quote]
