resize problem with batch command

Post by TwiceWise »

I have been attempting to use the task tool to resize, add contrast, and sharpen a group of images. I want all of the images to be 768 pixels tall so that they will all be the height of my computer screen. However, they all come out as different sizes. Some of them as small as 400 pixels high and others 1000 pixels high or more. As near as I can tell the batch command uses the width dialogue to resize the images rather than using the height dialogue. Is there any way that I can use the batch command in order to make all of the images the same height?

Also is there any way to make the lasso tool select the final pixel at the edge of an image. Right now it leaves a one pixel margin for everything I select.

)0ps, I guess I better add that this is X3 on Vista

Unless anyone else knows the answer, possibly you might find something in this link:

There is one dealing with the batch command but I don't know if it is deep enough to cover the task you are attempting.
