DMF 6 Plus with HD Powerpack UDF Question???
DMF 6 Plus with HD Powerpack UDF Question???
I've got many blu ray movie folders on my hard drive how to make sure that when copying them to BLU RAY disks they are in the proper UDF format for the media and not the default DVD UDF? does DMF recognizes the media automatically and decide for the proper UDF version? or do I need further steps before copying to assure that?
Hi,
If you have DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus:
Start -> Programs -> Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 -> "Ulead Burn-Now 4.5"
Select "Copy Movie". Top selection "SOURCE (Movie Folder)" - Navigate to the Blu-Ray Disk BDMV Folder, select it.
Also the down arrow next to the "Copy" Icon will display additional burning parameters. You must burn Blu-Ray Folders to a real Blu-Ray Disc.
If you want to burn it to a dvd then you have to first make an ISO image of the Blu-Ray Folders and then burn that to a dvd. If you burn it to a dvd it probably will only playback on the computer.
The disk will be burnt in UDF 2.6 format.
If you use Nero 8 Ultra then it's:
New -> UDF Only, UDF selection change to Manual -> Physical Partition -> UDF 2.6
I think the Ulead Burn-Now 4.5 works much easier.
Hope this helps
