Titles Not Centered - Another Rendering Problem

Post by Black Lab »

I recently had out of sync problems with 1+ hour projects but have seemed to rectify that by breaking it down to smaller projects (10-20 minutes), rendering them all separately, then inserting them during the Create Disc step.

But now after rendering some (not all) of my titles are off-center. When I look at the separate projects all the titles are positioned perfectly, but after I add the separate projects by choosing "Add Video Studio Project" in the Create Disc step, and the entire project renders, some are off-center.

I would like to add that I do follow the recommended procedure of capturing and editing in AVI, and then go to Share to convert to MPEG before I go to the Create Disc step.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Jeff,
Don't ever use Add Project in the SHARE phase because it will trigger the CUMHCOCV bug. (Completely Unnecessary Multi-Hour Conversion of Compliant Videos) It will usually trigger other bugs as well.

Instead, create mpeg2 video files of each project and then ADD VIDEO File in the SHARE stage. That will work fine provided you set up your properties in the Create Video and the Create Disk stages.

Before I read your reply I did just that, used ADD VIDEO instead of ADD PROJECT, and it worked perfectly. Titles were all centered and it rendered much faster.

Thanks for your reply.
