Importing blank frames/masks from PI into VS

Post by lakewud »

Hello all, another day another question.

MASKS - can i import a blank Mask / or photo frame say..from PI into VS...to use it over a video...like the Chromakey/mask options..gives you a handful to choose from...just wondered where the option is to import your own.

And if so, how do you save a 'blank' mask/frame in PI because it needs an image around it first...suppose you could put an image in and then simply put your video over the top of it in VS..have i answered my own question?

There is a way to create masks/frames in PI for VS, however they are gray-scale images so must be used in the overlay tracks. I've prepared a tutorial showing how this is done. It can be viewed here:
