VideoStudio 11.5 Plus HD file output options

Post by JonSS »

Can anybody me know what various SINGLE HD files it can output. I want to edit some MT2S AVCHD files and output them to a single HD file and would prefer not to output to MPEG2-HD to save memory etc.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums. It would be useful if you would fill in your Profile details on the Profile button at the top of this page. Amongst other things, this will record your system specifications. Those are usually always important, and particularly so when dealing with AVCHD format. I trust that you have a sufficiently powerful computer to be able to edit it, or even play, as it is notoriously demanding of computer resources.

Anyway, if you don't want to output to AVCHD or HDV/mpeg-2, then the other possibilities are HD WMV and HD DivX. To get the full (and upper) range of choices in the former, you need to install Windows Media Encoder 9. And of course for DivX, you will need the DivX codec on your computer.

Yes, but read my comments about having a sufficiently powerful computer to do so. And I repeat that it would indeed be useful if you filled in your Profile button above...
