Concerning Mini DVD-RW

Greetings

I have with me 4 of this type from some guy wanted me to edit his capturing.

Problem is, I tried to transfer the file from this miniDVD-RW to my PC and I get error msg "F:\ is not accessible, incorrect function"

I'm new to this kinda disc (I know its already in the market for like years now but prefer working with mini DV.)

So do I need to install that specific software that comes along with that specific handycam or from handycam, using firewire cable would just do the trick ?

PS - Tried viewing this miniDVD-RW with my DVD player and the player just failed to read it.

Mini-DVD needs to be finalized in the camera. Have you done that?

Honestly I don't know
This guy just pop up in front of my door, pass me the discs and ask me to do the rest.

Will ask him that.

I myself are not familiar with this "new" technology.
