bubble boy..well ...girl

Post by lakewud »

Any thoughts on this effect..for VS10plus.

Wanting to have a shot of bubbles slowly appearing every other bubble or so having a moving image of my daughter..floating/falling down.....

Now...this i have done...using PI, so i have a static image..brought into VS of her in a bubble then chromakeyed it onto the video track...and used either fade in/out..or moving from top/bottom etc...and combined with the bubble effect on VS...it all works a treat.

But, was just wondering whether (a) im doing it the correct way...using chromakey etc...the bubble image and inserted photo look ok..but always room for improvment isnt there...but really i was after whether i could somehow have a moving image/video in the bubble instead of just a photo?

As far as I am aware, you can't do that in VS. You need a special 3D-type program, such as Xara 3D or Cool 3D Production Studio.

But I would of course be very interested if anyone has actually done it using VS...

It sounds very interesting, If I wasn't in the middle of an existing project I would do a few experiments. Hope someone comes up with an idea, I already have a video in my queue where I could use that effect.
