There is an update to make MF5 work with Vista. (I don't know if it works with the "free" SE version, and I don't know if it has anything to do with audio...

If that doesn't work, were going to need some more information. The Read This First... at (near) the top of the forum tells you what we need to know.

Tell us something about your Sanyo camera. Is it a hard-disk camera, a direct-to-DVD camera, a still camera that also captures motion, etc.?

What audio & video formats does your camera record to?
Urgent, pls help ~
I hope you're not in a big rush, because digital video isn't easy! Once you learn how to work with your particular hardware, software, and file formats, it will get easier. But, it can be difficult the first time.

Everybody is using different hardware, software, and formats, and everybody has different project goals. So, there are no simple step-by-step instructions, and you generally have to figure-out what works for you by yourself, with some help from us, of course!

If you decide to upgrade to the full (non-SE) version, make sure to download the trial version first!

MPEG-4 (and other highly-compressed formats) can be "difficult", and you should make sure that Movie Factory is compatible with your particular MPEG-4 variation before you purchase. (Your SE version may have been tweaked to work with your camara... with WinXP.)
